Job Summary
The Network Partnership Specialist is responsible for managing and growing key network partner relationships that support DentalPlans.com’s dental savings plans, insurance products, and related offerings. This role ensures the operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic performance of partner programs while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams and external carriers. A key focus of this role is to own the accuracy and integrity of provider network data, fee schedules, and plan information across all DentalPlans.com platforms. This includes leading processes such as the practice verification process to proactively validate provider participation, fee schedules, and plan details to ensure members and providers receive the best experience.

Job Summary

This role ensures the operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic performance of partner programs while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams and external carriers. What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with network partners and carriers, serving as the primary operational point of contact.
- Manage day-to-day communications with network partners regarding plan operations, provider participation, fee schedules, and product updates while identifying opportunities for partnership expansion or new product offerings.
- Lead onboarding and implementation of new network partners, plans, and product updates, including coordination of documentation, approvals, and implementation requirements.
- Lead the full lifecycle of network plans, including configuration, launch, optimization, and retirement, ensuring accuracy and timely deployment across platforms.
- Own the accuracy and integrity of provider network data, fee schedules, and plan information across DentalPlans.com platforms and systems.
- Lead and execute the verification process to validate provider participation, fee schedules, and plan details.
- Establish processes and controls to ensure provider and fee schedule data received from carriers is accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner.
- Ensure member agreements, plan disclosures, and product documentation remain accurate, compliant, and current.
- Review consumer-facing plan content to ensure plan information, savings, and provider participation are accurately represented.
- Monitor plan performance using key metrics such as revenue, units, conversion, provider issues, and customer escalations.
- Track provider data accuracy, billing discrepancies, and operational performance across network partners.
- Own the resolution of complex provider and billing discrepancies with network partners, ensuring issues are tracked, resolved, and root causes addressed.
- Partner with network carriers to resolve provider participation and fee schedule discrepancies and ensure timely correction of inaccurate provider data.
- Create and execute training for Provider Care agents to ensure quality customer service for provider escalation issues.
- Manage the batching and verification of eligibility with network partners to ensure membership information is accurately conveyed and active within partner systems.
- Partner with Product, IT, Marketing, Legal, and Call Center teams to ensure accurate plan information and effective product delivery.
- Develop documentation and training resources to help internal teams accurately represent plans and provider participation.
- Lead regular partner performance reviews to evaluate plan performance, operational issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify opportunities to expand the product portfolio through new network partners, additional plan offerings, and strategic partner initiatives.
- Travel typically less than 10% (Required once per year)
- Office environment with no special physical demands required
What You Will Have
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Experience in the dental industry or medical industry is required
- Solid understanding of the company’s market, products, key players, technologies, and relevant contacts
- Proven track record of developing high-level relationships and successfully selling complex value propositions
- Strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally
- Highly adaptable and flexible, with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding timelines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a creative and effective manner
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- A bachelor’s degree
