Job Summary

The Sr Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy and positioning of assigned products and integrations for DentalPlans.com, the leading e-commerce marketplace that helps consumers access affordable dental care through dental savings plans.

This role acts as a strategic business partner for the product portfolio, driving market adoption, performance insights, and go-to-market excellence. Collaborating closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams, the role helps define vision and roadmaps, gathers market requirements, and ensures successful product launches. It bridges gaps between Development, Marketing, Sales, and Support, and leverages market and competitive analysis to craft differentiated product positioning that delivers unique value. The position spans both strategic and tactical responsibilities and serves as the go-to subject matter expert for assigned products and markets.

What You Will Do
  • Contribute to product strategy and vision by leveraging customer research, VOC analysis, and market insights.
  • Partner with Product Management on roadmap alignment to ensure strong product-market fit.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive offerings to inform positioning, packaging, and differentiation.
  • Continuously monitor, measure, and report on key business and customer metrics.
  • Identify areas for optimization through testing, messaging refinement, and GTM improvements.
  • Establish baseline performance metrics and post-launch reporting frameworks.
  • Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new products, integrations, enhancements, and feature releases.
  • Develop launch plans, messaging frameworks, competitive positioning, pricing support materials, and enablement strategies.
  • Ensure cross-functional launch readiness across Sales, Marketing, Support, and Customer Success.
  • Partner with demand generation teams to align campaigns with persona insights and buyer journeys.
  • Develop training, pitch decks, product briefs, FAQs, case studies, and enablement materials.
  • Understand how current customers and providers are benefiting from the product and integration, and leverage this information to support sales training, referrals, case studies, and collateral development.
  • Present internally and externally at customer meetings, webinars, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to translate market and customer insights into feature recommendations and market requirements.
  • Provide market input into prioritization decisions to ensure alignment between roadmap and customer needs.
  • Partner with UX and Product teams to ensure solution design reflects customer expectations and positioning strategy.
  • Lead structured VOC initiatives including surveys, interviews, win/loss analysis, and feedback loops.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable positioning and market requirements.
  • Serve as the customer advocate in messaging and launch planning and incorporate feedback into launch strategy.
  • Lead messaging strategy for tradeshows and industry events, ensuring alignment with positioning and target personas.
  • Visit customers and attend industry events

Qualifications

What You Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of industry practices, tools, systems, and procedures
  • Experience developing market requirements for hardware and software products/services
  • Ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders and lead/participate in cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated product management competencies, including VOC and customer focus, analytical and synthesizing ability, strategic thinking and judgement, perseverance and persuasion skills
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and public speaking skills; ability to deliver difficult messages
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and partnership-building skills (internal and external)

  • Knowledge of the dental market and dentistry business
The posted range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000, which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
