Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Architect with deep expertise in Sales Cloud and a strong understanding of sales and marketing business processes. This role will be a strategic partner to Sales and Marketing leadership, helping design scalable solutions, lead system design decisions, and mentor our Salesforce team. The ideal candidate brings a blend of architecture expertise and business acumen, with hands-on experience configuring Salesforce and guiding teams in an agile environment.

What You Will Do
  • Drive Salesforce architecture strategy and technical standards aligned with business objectives
  • Lead technical analysis and design solutions to support Sales and Marketing processes using native functionality, declarative automations, and advanced solutions
  • Partner with sales and operations leaders to design and enhance key revenue workflows – including lead routing, opportunity management, qualification, forecasting, territory planning, pipeline management, and sales enablement processes
  • Establish and oversee system health monitoring strategies using reports, dashboards, and other diagnostic tools to ensure platform performance
  • Promote data quality within core Sales Cloud objects by supporting integrations and data migrations, and helping to correct data-related issues
  • Create clear, actionable technical documentation of business processes and supporting systems
  • Establish and evolve Salesforce best practices while staying current on new platform features and enhancements
  • Mentor team members and share expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
  • Collaborate on general administration of the salesforce ecosystem as needed

Travel/Physical Demands

Qualifications

What You Will Have
  • 8+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years focused on Salesforce architecture and configuration, managing projects of increasing complexity and scope
  • Proven experience in enterprise-level Salesforce architecture strategy and multi-cloud implementations (e.g. Marketing, Service, Revenue)
  • Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud features, CRM processes, and Salesforce native functionality, limitations, and best practices
  • Experience with advanced Sales Cloud features such as Enterprise Territory Management, Opportunity Splits and Teams, Forecasting, and Multicurrency
  • Experience leading architecture for implementation and administration teams, defining standards, and building partnerships across all company levels
  • Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, and other business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design optimized sales processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and public speaking skills

Nice to Haves
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Systems or a related field
  • Specialized experience with Marketing Automation and Sales Enablement platforms, such as Marketo, Groove, Clari
  • Salesforce certifications - Advanced Admin, Platform Developer I, Sales Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, System Architect, etc.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools

The posted range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
