This position will be hybrid in our American Fork, UT office 3 days a week, typically Tuesday – Thursday with the ability to work a 9 AM to 5:30 PM MST shift.
Job Summary
As an Accounts Receivable Representative, you will work on all A/R activities to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Handles refund and credit memo requests, daily credit card receipts, and cash receipts from the bank lockbox, ensuring proper application to customer invoices.
Serves as the primary contact for resolving complex A/R issues like payment discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams and communicating with customers.

The posted range for this position is $20 - $24 per hour which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Job Summary

Serves as the primary contact for resolving complex A/R issues like payment discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams and communicating with customers.
What You Will Do
- Process and accurately input daily cash receipts from the bank lockbox
- Apply cash receipts to correct customer invoices and reapply as needed
- Prepare, review, and approve customer statements monthly
- Process Salesforce returns, ensuring accuracy and proper refunds
- Prepare and process refund requests for overpayments, Schein payments, and credit card chargebacks
- Make necessary account adjustments, including debit and credit memos
- Handle one-time credit card payments and resolve open balances
- Address customer communications via phone and email, including billing resolutions and escalations
- Review and post order-processing and other daily batches (e.g., credit card, web)
- Collaborate with invoicing and escalations teams, especially during mass invoicing periods
- Assist with month-end close activities and bank reconciliation adjustments
- Open, sort, and handle incoming mail, including checks and correspondence
- Participate in special projects and provide backup for approvals and refund check requests as needed
Travel/Physical Demands

Qualifications
Must Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of related professional experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management, multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills
- Proven customer service experience with the ability to handle complex issues
- Good decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build productive relationships within all levels of the organization
Nice to Haves
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Experience with Great Plains, Net Suite or Salesforce
- High-volume phone experience a plus
