What You Will Do
  • Lead the design, architecture, installation, and lifecycle management of scalable and secure systems infrastructure, including server hardware, operating systems, and cloud environments
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure team on provisioning and recommending new equipment and software, maintaining documentation, conducting training, and performing ongoing maintenance
  • Install, configure, and manage server operating systems and associated infrastructure, including security settings, administrative and remote access, and networking configurations
  • Maintain and optimize VMWare environments, including creating and updating OS templates, deploying firmware updates, and leveraging automation for server deployment
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, including DNS, domains, organizational units, security delegation, domain controllers, GPOs, ADFS and handle upgrades and schema changes as needed
  • Oversee robust backup and disaster recovery solutions across US datacenters, including the creation and maintenance of backup jobs for various applications and systems
  • Keep datacenter infrastructure current with critical patches and configuration changes using GPOs, Ivanti, and WSUS
  • Manage and optimize tier-1 storage infrastructure for file shares and backups, including performance tuning, storage pooling, and data migration
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including role-based access and patch management for client and infrastructure devices
  • Monitor system health and performance proactively, implementing solutions to address issues and ensure high availability and optimal system operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, application, client, and network-related issues through root cause analysis and collaboration with internal teams (application, network, telecom, and support) and external vendors

Qualifications

What You Will Have
  • 4 – 5 years of professional working experience as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer
  • Possess an “automation-first” mindset with an emphasis on Infrastructure as Code
  • Strategic & Decisive Thinker – Applies sharp analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to resolve complex issues and drive results across multiple priorities
  • Skilled Communicator & Influencer – Delivers clear, compelling communication in both written and spoken forms, including presentations and navigating tough conversations
  • Collaborative Relationship Builder – Builds trusted partnerships across all levels of the organization; skilled in conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Organized & Results-Oriented – Expert in planning and project management, with a demonstrated ability to manage competing demands without losing focus
  • Process-Driven & Technically Fluent – Understanding of industry best practices, systems engineering principles, and structured approaches that drive efficiency and consistency

Nice to Haves
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications from Microsoft, Cohesity, VMware, or Cisco

The posted range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
