As part of Henry Schein One Canada, you will work with products to support the Canadian Dental Practice Management business. Our on-premise products are well established with strong customer loyalty while our cloud product customer base is growing every year!

We are currently accepting applications for highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Training Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional training and support to dental professionals in the effective utilization of our software. As a Training Consultant your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with software onboarding and deliver training to clients on-site, over the phone, and online across Canada, ensuring a high satisfaction with all stakeholders throughout the process
  • Provide implementation support & configuration to our customers by working closely with cross-functional teams 
  • Answer how-to questions related to the use of the software and improve the customer’s experience through workflow analysis and optimization opportunities
  • Produce and maintain customer-facing training materials and documentation
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties such as attend team meetings, staying up to date with software releases, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of training best practices
  • Attend industry conferences to provide product walkthroughs and facilitate classroom style seminars with up to 16 participants

Availability

  • Travel within Canada will be required averaging up to 3 weeks per month
  • Available for travel on weekends and evenings
  • Available for weekend training up to two weekends per month

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience delivering end-user training
  • Knowledge of MS Office and the Windows operating system
  • Dental industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience providing end-user phone support is an asset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships within the company and with clients
  • Superior customer service attitude, able to handle difficult situations with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism
  • Impeccable organizational and multitasking abilities, efficiently prioritizing tasks
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities trusted by all levels of management
  • Positive and professional disposition, adaptable to unexpected workflow changes and interruptions
  • Team player actively supporting peers, troubleshooting problems, and contributing to solution development
  • A valid driver's license is required for this role, training is done on site with some of our clients located in remote areas within BC, AB, ON and The Maritimes  
  • This is a hybrid (#LI-HYBRID) role, with two days in office, to facilitate brainstorming and team building 
    • Our office is located across from Guildford Mall, in Surrey, BC.

The posted range for this position is between CAD 55,440 and CAD 75,240 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient and experienced in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications & education etc.
